What is a Father?

I believe that mental health begins with definitions. What's your definition for the word father? Take a minute to write it out or state it out loud before continuing. Did you define it as someone who has kids. Don't worry that's how most people define it. Having kids is an effect of being a father.

According to the word of God a father is "a man which is a source of genes, a nourisher, provider, and protector." This can be thought of as the third stage of maturity for a Christian male.

In the upcoming articles we will discuss the process of fulfilling this role and maturing our manhood. We will look at presenting RIGHT & JUST, discipline, causes, & grace. As a bonus we will look at the role of the grand father.
